Tourism License
The tourism license can be acquired from the Tourism Authority of Thailand and is mandatory for all tourism related businesses.
Requirements for a TAT License
A person can apply for a tourism license under the following conditions:

Must be Thai National

At least 20 years of age

Having a domicile or residence in Thailand

Must have good mental health condition

Should not be bankrupt

No revocation of the tourism license 5 years prior to the current application
A company can apply under following conditions:

Must be registered under Thai Law with the objective to support tourism in Thailand

All unlimited liabilities must be of Thai Nationality only

In case of a limited company, the majority shareholder of at least 51% must be Thai and half of all directors must be Thai Nationals
Security Deposit
The following amount is required as deposit to receive the tourism license:

Domestic - 50,000 Baht

Inbound - 100,000 Baht

Outbound - 200,000 Baht
The license must be renewed every two years and it is recommended to initiate the renewal process 120 days before expiry.
