RECRUITMENT LICENSE IN THAILAND
If your business engages in recruitment services, you must apply for a recruitment license through the Thai Labor Department to allow this activity.
Requirements:

The director of the company applying for the recruitment license must be Thai. If there is more than one authorized director a resolution needs to be passed by the board of directors to appoint a Thai director who has authorization to sign for the recruitment business.

The majority shareholder of the company must be Thai nationals, either individuals or juristic persons with at least 51% share ownership.

The office area must have a minimum of 16 square meters, should be clearly separated from other offices and the company name should be at the front of the office. A letter of consent from the legal owner of the property is required to proof that the address is used for office purposes. The official authorities will inspect the office before issuing approval. They are also entitled to yearly inspections without prior notice.

In order to obtain the recruitment license, a guarantee of 100.000 THB has to be paid to the department of employment.

The director of the company must provide a copy his/her criminal record.
Once the recruitment license is issued, the company has to change the company name and business objectives by including the words “recruitment business”.
The recruitment license is valid for a period of two years.
