THAILAND IMPORT / EXPORT LICENSE
An import/ export license can be obtained from the Customs Department and is required to legally export or import goods from or to Thailand.
Import Export License and Licenses for Specific Products

A newly incorporated company can apply for an import/export license, once it has registered VAT and opened a corporate bank account in Thailand.
The application process is fairly simple when compared to other license applications and should not take more than one to two days. However, some products might require additional licenses from different government departments.
The Import of pharmaceutical products for examples is controlled by the Food and Drug Administration, whereas the import of gold is controlled by the Ministry of Finance.
